Well that last post was dumb. I'm obviously reading way too much into it.
Hell yeah I'll be editor and I'll kick some major ass too.
And if i suck, well i won't. I proof read, copy-edit, research topics, design layouts and choose stories. I have final say on everything. Ballin.
And to top it all off, it looks great on a resume!

And If I Could Swim...
I was just asked if i would be interested in Editor of the school newspaper for the 09-10 year. I'll be the first sophomore editor. I have time to think about it but I'm not sure if it's something i want to do. It would definitely be a great experience but it will be a lot of work and there are so many things I want to do. Would it be better to be "average" in a lot of extra-curricular activities or excel in a select few?
As a freshman, I'm already feeling overwhelmed-i know I'm doing too much. You know the saying"...They must of peaked in high school?" that's what I'm scared of...except in my sophomore year. Like what if I'll never be able to live up to this honor again? I don't know, it sounds weird. But what if i totally screw up and then i miss opportunities because of a mistake i made from naivety.
I recently picked my classes for next year and already i want to switch it. I can't take this position and then back out because i found something i want to do better.
How will i fit it in with drama, track, homework etc?
Don't get me wrong this is a great honor and i love writing but i feel like there's a lot of pressure from my mom to take it. I just want to sit down and schedule everything in!! I don't want to miss something because I already said yes, you know?
I don't know his is dumb. I really like reporting and such so i should do it. I think i might. I'll think about it.

First Timer
So I guess this is an on-line diary? Kinda cute. I'm actually the literary type, so expect great things from me. I'll use big words and fancy phrasing. JUST SO YOU KNOW. Actually i won't.
